A New Beginning

So...what do I normally do on New Year's Eve? The same thing I did on any other day.Lazying around.I'm cool like that.Chehhh :p
Let's flashback to early 2010 memories shall we?
  • had a birthday ice-cream with birthday Rocky candles courtesy of Aishah,Norazira & Sharifah Habibah which is one of the cutest things I've ever seen in my life.Honestly! Thank you, guys! I also recalled that I got a little teary at that time. *covers face*
  • graduated from matriculation.Weehooooooooo! Can't tell you how relieved I was at that moment.
  • became a bed slash couch potato during the holidays.Lots of youtube-ing and exchanging links with Aishah.
  • received matriculation results.I passed.Alhamdulillah.
  • got accepted into National University Of Malaysia under the course English Language Studies.
  • went for a Beast's Showcase.Yes,I do support them.
  • registered as a legal UKM student.
  • survived orientation week.EXHAUSTING with a capital E! Oh wait,it's already capitalized.Make it double capitalized then.
  • experienced the first day in university.
  • got sick.
  • diagnosed with Dengue fever.
  • 1-month break from university.
  • back to UKM,though a little tired.
  • made friends.
  • became happy :)
  • lived through study week.Heck, they should've called it lazy week. All I did was sleep.A LOT!
  • controlled nervosa for examinations.
  • semester break.
  • Hello London! Bonjour Paris!
  • received results for first semester.I passed.Alhamdulillah.
  • back to UKM.
  • living.
Happy New Year, people! Give time and yourself a chance.Like Aishah said,it's okay to get hurt sometimes :)

My Lookbook

Nope, she's not Tengku Azura the model (whom I extremely adore) though I think they sometimes look alike.Meet Mas Angelina from My Lookbook, currently my favourite fashionista. She's also a Malaysian. We share 3 things in common:
  1. Passion for fashion.
  2. Agyness Deyn's admirer.
  3. A fan of Camelia.
Plus,she wears braces.How cute is that? :)

I love the simplicity of this photo. You can tell it is effortless but still well-put together.Exactly my style.

If this guy happens to be reading,I've just got to say,'Hey dude, you're so cool'.The skateboard makes the best accessory thus completing the whole look. The jacket is divinely handsome,by the way.

You see,lil sis had a thing for Sherlock Holmes and considering they had a museum for him,we decided to go there.Educational lil trip or as I called it,let's-go-otherwise-she-will-throw-a-fit.Hehe.There was a shop,The Beatles Store,a few strides from the museum and being a fan of the legendary band,I just had to pay a visit (and pay for some souvenirs *ahem*).I wish I could spent the night there,in the store,I mean. They have tees, postcards, notebooks, calendars, figures, posters and...vinyl! I immediately thought of a friend,Lis,who just happen to love vinyl.Checked out the price and pretended looking elsewhere afterwards. The vinyl costs a whooping RM1000+.Ohkay.

Next stop,Sherlock Holmes Museum! Very antique and vintage-looking.There were tons of merchandise; books,The Kit,pens and some other stuff I had forgotten as a result of lack of focused =.=
The most interesting thing there was the music box.It comes in a variety of songs such as Fur Elise,Yesterday,Love Song,Love Me Tender, etcetera.I can't resist buying one.I picked Love Me Tender by Elvis Presley though I was only familiar with the cover version by Norah Jones.

We dropped by Windsor Castle after that for some history learning. We didn't actually do that and you know it.The place was enchanting! Imagine murals on ceiling, gold furnitures, gold rooms, headed decor, armour statues and yes, paintings. It was bigger than huge.
