When I was little,say kindergarden,I wanted to be a singer.Maybe a model,even.Because I found a few photos of me posing the signature hand over the hips pose.Oh yeah,I also went further by creating a catchy name for myself,a very long one.I'm not very sure what the purpose was,maybe to add a little spice and shall be my official celebrity name.Can't tell you much but there was Puteri somewhere.Yikes! You can't blame a girl typical dream,to be a princess.Everybody went through that,I'd like to think that way.

Comes primary school also comes the ambition to be a stewardess.Come on! The kebaya,the signature bun,the luggage drag at the airport plus the 'emergency-exit-through-there-and-there' yadayadayada demo,and most importantly,the travelling! I stick to that for years.Of course,doctor and lawyer came up too,what with their reputation being famous and THE top careers.Once,I decided I wanted to pursue architecture after paying a visit to a friend of Dad's house.It was humongous and beautiful.They had a pool.Hellooo? A kid needs a pool.I'm not sure why but yeah,that's what I thought.I need to be an architecture to earn lots of cash.
However,that was forgotten a few years later as I can't draw a straight line even with the presence of a ruler.I'm not really a good drawer.I coloured better.Unlike Dad,who has good sketching skills.My thing is copy and draw,not imagine and draw.My imagination's a wonderland---only in my head =.=

I still have a thing for architecture somehow.Every now and then you can find me lurking in the Uni's library,flipping through Architecture's books.In the first semester,I borrowed one of the books and following the procedures required,showed the receipt with the book that I borrowed to the library people.I guess they're trying to avoid the snuggling out books thingy.Top security much? The pakcik library scanned my receipt and asked me whether I was from the architecture planning and surveying program.I answered 'No' with a puzzled face.He must be confused too,I think.Chances for me to take home a Design book is bigger than a language-learning one.But I do go for novels though,just not the academic ones.Haha.
My coursemates looked at me weird the first time they saw me running around with an Architecture bind to a lecture.Heh.

When somebody asked me what course I am in,they always came up with the usual reply,that eventually I'll be a teacher or a lecturer.God knows I hate teaching.Okay hate is a strong word,so we'll use dislike then.Smiling would be my reply to their reply.I wish to work for a magazine,writing or anything to do with fashion.You only live once,why settle for something expected rather than your own liking? So,the program that I took up has nothing much to do with fashion,I know.Back when the UPU result came out,I was lost on the possible courses issue.Couldn't make up my mind but I knew I had a thing for fashion,psychology,literature and writing.Physics may be my hidden minor talent yet the theories made me dizzy.I would go crazy calculating this and that,what with the equations and such.Then why not chase after the fashion thing? The ugly truth is only private Uni/College offers fashion programs.Sure,fashion design is available in local Uni/College but remember the part where I'm a lousy drawer? Yeah,that stands in the way.Now here I am,taking English Language studies hoping to turn that fashion dream into a reality once I graduated.Maybe I'll have my own clothing line in the future,pouring ideas like Kate Moss did with Topshop.Who knows?

I certainly don't want to be those people who hate on Monday because they have to go do whatever they do half-heartedly so the bills get paid.Working should involve things that you love doing.Insyaallah someday,the day will come.Teen Vogue,Harper's Bazaar,Seventeen,Cleo,come to momma!

Too bad I can't stay longer in Singapore.Their airport is really something.They had interesting recycle bins with the shape of the 3 main recycle materials; plastic,metal and paper.Little sis showed me this awesome printed stuff while we were browsing through the book store.They're wallets made from recycled paper.Extremely thin and waterproof.Shocked me.It's called Mighty Wallet.Rushing didn't do any good to this hesitant being.I simply can't choose one.Regretting still.Besides,Singapore dollars ain't cheap.

On a different note,I scored big time during a recent visit to Dad's hometown.These pair of eyes spotted the dress in the picture hanging in my Aunt's closet.She decided to give the lovely thing to me! Sunny days ahead,hopefully :)

You see,lil sis had a thing for Sherlock Holmes and considering they had a museum for him,we decided to go there.Educational lil trip or as I called it,let's-go-otherwise-she-will-throw-a-fit.Hehe.There was a shop,The Beatles Store,a few strides from the museum and being a fan of the legendary band,I just had to pay a visit (and pay for some souvenirs *ahem*).I wish I could spent the night there,in the store,I mean.They have tees,postcards,notebooks,calendars,figures,posters and...vinyl! I immediately thought of a friend,Lis,who just happen to love vinyl.Checked out the price and pretended looking elsewhere afterwards.The vinyl costs a whooping RM1000+.Ohkay.

Next stop,Sherlock Holmes Museum! Very antique and vintage-looking.There were tons of merchandise; books,The Kit,pens and some other stuff I had forgotten as a result of lack of focused =.=
The most interesting thing there was the music box.It comes in a variety of songs such as Fur Elise,Yesterday,Love Song,Love Me Tender,etcetera.I can't resist buying one.I picked Love Me Tender by Elvis Presley though I was only familiar with the cover version by Norah Jones.

We dropped by Windsor Castle after that for some history learning.We didn't actually do that and you know it.The place was enchanting! Imagine murals on ceiling,gold furnitures,gold rooms,headed decor,armour statues and yes,paintings.It was bigger than huge.

First Fashion Show

Life is full of suprises.Never in a million light years would have I thought that my first ever fashion show would be when I was naughty naughty nineteen (Aishah came up with this).
*teary eyed* God,you have been so kind.Thank you :)
The story? I was strolling around Pavilion with my family and my cousin when all of a sudden came a Malaysia International Fashion Week (MIFW) crew,stopping me (and brother).She asked whether we wanted to see a fashion show for free.My face went from this =| to this =) .
A puppy dog-eyed was attempted on Dad and what do you know? It worked!

I would be so over-the-moon if it was not for these things:

1) I wore a crumpled shirt,grey skinny & my DIRTIEST pair of sneakers (die die die).
2) Was carrying a J.Co plastic bag on my left hand (somebody shoot me!).
3) Uncombed hair (dead).
4) Cracked lips.No lip balm on (wakes up from the dead & apply lip balm.dead,again).

But whatever.I'm still thankful despite all of the above.Alhamdulillah.Oh people,spot me in the last photo.I was there!

Happy Saturday,world! (or as I called it,Lazy Saturday.Sunday? Lazier Sunday).Waittt,Lucky Saturday sounds nice too,fits the day more.After the long wait,my brother and I finally went to the wonder Wondermilk! It has been a wish for Aishah and I to pay Wondermilk a visit after feasting our eyes on the pictures on Arnie's blog.If you happen to have a to-do list,you HAVE to go to Wondermilk at least once.That's how interesting this cafe is,to make it to your list.I promise you,it's really worth it.Vintage decor+cute furniture+yummy food+oh-so-good drinks=happy customers.If I were a teacher,I would bring my students here for a field trip.

How you doin'? *in the style of Joey Tribbiani* I know,I know,this blog is extremely dusty. *blows dust away* Here we go,better isn't it? Guys just do not get it.Things about girls.You cannot fool around roughly with girls especially the sensitive type.Joking about her flaws and laugh it off,you gotta avoid that.She will end up hurting.Besides,when a girl gets mad do not accuse her of having PMS.Ouuu,wrong move there.Your words strikes through her already heated condition,flaming the fire vigorously.You will just come across as stupid.Plus,we do not have to smile 24/7 just to convince you that we are indeed okay and not 'unhappy'.

The Best Time To Fly

June 26th 2010.

Alhamdulillah.God has been kind,very.Thank you.One self was seriously hesitatant to wake up and face the day.I was scared to hear the final call,the bad news particularly.Mom woke me up,insisted that I should get ready to go to Kuala Lumpur.After some forceful fight with my inner self,the body returned to the real world,nervous.Good forecast.Arabic prince's pressie from Aishah was on top of my tag-along list.Forgetting the pressie is not an option.Nuh uh.Do not even let me imagine the cruel fantasy.I travel heavy for the first time.The harrier speeds at 11am+,officially.

At about 1pm,exhalation infused relief washed over.Self blow-dry hair session happened at 3pm+.Rare.Ready,good to go at 5pm+.Greets KL live at almost 6pm.And so,queue the long,winding line with Malaysian pretty girls.I was excited,mind you.But under control.The huge poster did not do any good,adrenaline kicked in.I cannot faint now,no.One also refused to glance at the poster anymore.The showcase passes held high by the homosapiens around was avoided by my eyes too.A petite,awkward fangirl spotted with a related XY,eating steamed buns.Me,not brother.Dirty looks from onlookers.Yes,I was hungry and waiting made me feel famished.Screaming and chanting occured every once in a while,such as 'ooopen!' and of course the trademark,'so...beast!'.One remained calm yet suddenly got all talkative.Blame the boys-to-search-for-top fright.Admission at 8pm+ when the scheduled one was supposed to be at 7pm.Blame the security,maybe.
Right.Priority for fans with the boys shirt on,forget it =.=
Besides,free passes for normal album customer when I had already spend RM120 just to get the showcase pass,tee (because this WAS priority.Only 2000 who people owned this got to enter the venue first) and a repackaged album,not helping I tell you.The venue was sardine-packed with normal people wearing normal shirts and some actors,fainting ones,*cough*.Meanwhile,brother and I were still among the hundreds outside.This cannot be it,the 'thank you for coming all the way from Kuantan,but you guys cannot make it inside' it.I was not going to give up just yet.Not after the lectures that I got from Dad for even asking to go.I shall not let them close the door on me,say no.

Brother literally held me up every 10 minutes.The view was crazy beautiful and sharp.Clear scenery of the guys,I like.I lose myself waaaaay too much by shouting," I know how to dance!" when the emcee randomly picked 3 girls to compete in a Shock dance contest.The winner will get the chance to snap a photo with the guys.Sporting chinese girl in black was the winner.She deserved it :) She knew the choreography and she can dance.The guys came out with brand new outfits,fierce red tux.YY & DW were really tight on stage.They even snapped some selfca while performing.Too cute.Must slaps self.Shock remixed with Mystery ended the show.Too bad the white cell bailed on me too on the last precious minutes.Thus,lose the video.

Autograph session coming right up,will end within one hour.Please let me pass through,just to give DW Aishah's pressie.Made a new friend,Mei Yee,a 20 years of age Universiti Malaya student who came all the way from Mentakab,Pahang,with two chinese friends.Team Pahang! Glad that I watched yesterday's match.Liverpool vs Arsenal.I cheered for Liverpool,obviously.

Now I feel like bleaching everything I owned (and some of lil sis's)! I'm actually thinking of bleaching my black jeans since it just look so blah.But I'm this clumsy little person and I'm afraid I'll ruin the jeans for nada (english: nothing).

College's form is all complete.That's one down.Ya know,I do love watching Grey's Anatomy.Pro bono,cardio,scalpel,George O' Malley (too bad he's gay outside,huh?)...I'm this close at choosing medic for the courses as 2 centimetres---if only I can stand the sight of my own blood,that is.Nausea,I don't get 'em.I don't go sick.But when the smell,of rust and saltiness,went through my nostrils,with the blood oozing out,that,I can't handle.Importante,if the hospitals here is as cosy looking as in the series,I won't mind the blood much.Did I just talk about blood and hospitals? Geez banana.

I found Juno's dvd after some rummaging through the wreck aka my room.Still funny even after a gizzilion times of pressing play.I wish Where's Fluffy is real though (a thin connection there---see? Juno...Michael Cera...Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist? Ah,yes,there we go).

It's one of those days---glued to the bed,eyes tight shut,big sis big voice urged to woke up,no phone calls,no texts,polyvore collages.

I'm glad it has been raining these couple of days though I'm not really sure when it started raining.All I know is that the ground is wet.Internet bailed on me.But then I call the modem 'baby'.No respond.Ahh,it had gone crappish again!
